Title: Project Engineer: Deep River CT

Job Type: Full-time

Qualifications:

  • Minimum: BS in Engineering, Construction Management, or similar field

  • 5+ years of experience in field of corrosion, construction, water/wastewater/utilities

  • NACE CP2+ certification required

  • Physical capabilities related to frequent standing, kneeling, walking, occasional confined space, climbing and working at height required. May be required to lift/pull up to 50lbs

  • Site Clearance: Ability to pass a DOT drug test is necessary for access to certain facilities and a background check (back to 18th birthday)

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Performance of on-site technical evaluation, testing, inspection, and installation. Ability to create field data, notes, photo documentation and other as required by the project.

  • Exceptional report writing skills to produce field reports, annual survey reports and typewritten data using Microsoft Word and Excel. Ability to draw conclusions and make recommendations as required by projects.

  • Understanding of specifications and construction plans to create submittals, order and verify project materials 

  • Manage CorrTech operation with subcontractors as required for project execution

  • Adhere to CorrTech safely plan, specific site safety plan and OSHA regulations. Lead tail-gate safety review, oversee and ensure compliance with project job hazard analysis

  • Familiarity with test equipment and supplies, staging, hand and power tools and maintenance of same
